Turning A Dream Into A Career With The Janome 7933 Serger Sewing Machine
After filling my design book with pretty designs, I decided to give my design passion a chance and transformed them into designer outfits. I decided to sew a few of them to show to my friends for their approval. After getting the materials and threads I needed to purchase a sewing machine. To get my new sewing career underway, I went to one of the local stores and purchased my sewing machine.Much to my dismay, I went through three sewing machines within my first week. My first purchased sewing machine left me high and dry because it was to slow to accomplish my first outfit on time. The second sewing machine wasn't much better, which cost me several hours to correct the threading problems this machine was having. My third machine didn't work any better and kept breaking the needles as I was sewing. I was starting to feel like my new career was never going to get off the ground. Then my friend recommended the Janome 7933 Serger Sewing Machine, but I didn't know if I could afford it even though I had always wanted a top qaulity sewing machine.
I decided to try it one afternoon, I went to the sewing machine store, and to my amazement, an extraordinarily beautiful Janome 7933 serger sewing machine attracted me. It had this beautiful design and display. The shop attendant let me try it and showed me all the amazingly easy features. The 3 to 4 thread convertible Serger made it a snap to thread different colored threads. I fell in love with this machines sewing speed, it was unbelievable. I quickly knew this was the machine I needed for my new career, besides it was comparably priced with the other machines that didn't work very well. I knew I had to purchase the Janome 7933 Serger Sewing Machine and that it would make all of my sewing headaches go away.
Smooth hems became very simple to create over the next few days. The threads did not jam in the machine and I could easily change the threads and still finish my designs on time. Doing rolled hemming with it was so revered I could not believe it, this was a nightmare most of the time. In just over a week I had my samples on the internet and thanks to the Janome 7933 Serger Sewing Machine my clothes looked great and I had a lot of responses from people interested in my clothes.

What type of needles fit an old Singer 99k sewing machine?
I am looking to buy some needles for denim sewing. The ones that I have found say that they are Flat sided Standard Fit 130/705H. Will they fit my 1927 machine? I have looked at the current needle and one side is straight, I am not sure if this means it is flat sided. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I plan to use the machine quite alot and need to know what to buy. Thanks.

Yup. It's what I use in mine. AKA Singer 2020 or 15x1 needle system. Size 10 for lightweight fabrics, like a light shirting, 12 for heavier shirtings and light skirt/pantsweight, 14 for pantsweight, 16 for heavy denims, coatings, etc.
