My Laptop Battery Problem And How I Fixed It
My laptop battery really has been driving me crazy for the last six months. I have had to replace the battery twice already because the laptop is quite old. However the last time I tried to replace it, I was told that this battery was no obsolete and I could not be able to get anymore. I was a bit annoyed to hear this I wish they had told me when I first bought the computer. This has meant that I had to put up with a battery that was providing shorter and shorter charges a few months ago it stopped charging completely.
Even though I no longer had the battery to use, I could still use the laptop by plugging it into the mains power supply. I didn't realise how significant it was to have a battery in your laptop and consoled myself with the fact that I could still get it working. As well as being an inconvenience, you also have no back up power supply for your laptop. So if I knock out the power cord by mistake, the laptop goes dead instantly. Although I never knew that I did this, I have now realised that I end up knocking out the plug on my laptop at least once every day. This has led to me losing documents that I have been working on and it has left me so frustrated that I considered dumping the laptop in the nearest bin.
However I have come across a solution to this problem in recent days - an external battery. The external battery is a great alternative to having an internal battery although obviously not the perfect solution. Knowing my work is safe if the plug comes out accidentally is the best thing for me and why I am so happy with the external battery. This was quite a reasonably priced purchase and it is certainly paying for itself.
