This bag looks the part on any hightstreet and a friend or relative would be happy to recieve it as a gift, so lets get started.
All that is needed to start your Jean bagDisguarded jeans. you can get an old pair of jeans from a charity shop but most people have an ripped pair that they no longer wear.Strong thread. Use a colour to compliment your jeans, make sure your cotton is strong.
- A neck tie. You might need two of these if you are making a large bag.

Part 1.
Remove the legs Making sure the crotch is removed, but leave the zip in tact. then iron them and prepare them to create your bag.
Stage 2After turning the jeans inside out sew straight accross the bottom. Do this a couple of times to ensure that the bottom of your bag will be strong.Then turn the bag the right way, ending up with a punch in need of a handle.
Step 3Cut two strips 20 x 4 inches from of the legs that you left previously and set them on a ironing board with the inside side facing the other. Roll in the rough edges on the long side and steam iron them flat then stitch on the long side. This is where your choice of thread come into play as it will be visable on the finished article. Do the same on the other side leaving you with a neat flat denim tube.Part 4
Attatch the strap to the bag.
Stage 5Thread the scarf around the bag and tie in an attractive bow.
