I have grey metal "hoops / rings" red plastic hoops/rings - some with clips.

The curved tubes you get two halves of one and using a smooth red ring (not the ones with clips) place one at either end of the tube

You should have some straight tubes with a ledge at the end of them. These are different from the normal straight tubes as the ledge part needs to go in one of the red rings to join the straight part to the curved tube.
